Hot weather brings unique challenges for the drivers. The journeys through car became stressful when the mercury rises to triple digits. Hot summer weather usually brings the dangerous conditions for both the driver and the vehicle. But, it is often necessary to drive despite the bad weather condition. Thus it is important to consider the few effective tips for driving in hot weather in a safe manner.   

By making the smart precautions, you can stay cool and avoid any possibility of heat related breakdown of car. So, consider the following tips vigilantly:

STAY HYDRATED: In hot days, it is very important to drink plenty of water to keep you going. Thus, it is must to drive with the spare water and cold drinks for everyone in the car to stay hydrated.  

KEEP ALERT: It is very important to keep alert while driving so it is wise to take rest breaks in long journeys. And if you feel drowsy then open the car window and take some fresh air to keep yourself watchful. Wear a hat and sunscreen to keep away from the heat of hot sun and keep alert all the time.

Make sure you never open the radiator cap of a hot radiator to check as it can spray out a boiling coolant on you.

CHECK AIR CONDITIONING:
Make sure your car AC blows cool air and works properly to have the cool driving in hot days. In case, AC isn’t working properly, take it to certified technician and have it serviced.  

CHECK TYRES:
It is necessary to make sure tyres are properly inflated because under –inflated tyres flex more and increase risk of heat build-up. Thus, it is wise to check the inflation pressure in all the tiers, including the spare.
